First introduced in 2003 and inspired by the elegant, Art Deco-era women who danced along the Champs-Élysées in the late 1920s, the Carrée is Frederique Constant's take on the rectangular dress watch — a shape most maisons treat as a design exercise, not a serious mechanical watch. The Carrée Automatic runs on the FC-303 calibre (Frederique Constant's name for the Sellita SW200), with a 38-hour power reserve, stop-seconds for precise time-setting, and a gold-decorated rotor on display through the caseback. Clean lines, clous de Paris dial decoration, and genuine mechanical credentials — at a fraction of what a comparable rectangular dress watch costs elsewhere.
2. Highlife
Originally launched in 1999 and revived in 2020 with a sharper, more modern design, Highlife is Frederique Constant's integrated sport-luxury line — a barrel-shaped case with half-moon facets, an interchangeable strap-and-bracelet system, and a signature globe motif on the dial. Every Highlife model runs on an in-house Swiss movement that's COSC-certified, meaning it has been independently tested and certified as a chronometer — a mark of accuracy you don't often see below the S$3,000 mark.
3. Classic Worldtimer Manufacture
The flagship of the range, and the clearest example of what "a league of its own" means in practice. Since its debut in 2012, the Worldtimer has been one of the defining pieces in the Frederique Constant catalogue, and the latest generation is built around the Manufacture Caliber FC-719 — the brand's 35th in-house movement — with a doubled 72-hour power reserve and a newly streamlined dial that lets the world-map motif and 24-city time display take centre stage. Every function, including the world-time display, is set through the crown alone, no correctors, no fuss. It's the kind of complication most brands gate behind five-figure price tags.
